I worked so hard on Lillian’s birthday party. I’m really big into DIY stuff vs paying someone else, so by the time it was party day. . .I was exhausted lol. I had this huge vision in my head and it didn’t all come to reality due to a few things but I was happy with how it all turned out. She has this bunny we got her this past Easter that she sleeps with every night, so I wanted to do a rustic bunny theme. I really wanted to tie in a tea party theme as well but I couldn’t find any teapots or teacups for a great price. Her party location was a barn that had a little petting zoo. Well. . .more like a goat only petting zoo. Lol! Lillian is OBSESSED with animals. So I knew this would be perfect for her. She practically tried climbing into the goats pin! We did a time capsule for her that she will be able to open on her 18th birthday. I saw the idea a few years ago and remembered to pin it on Pinterest. I’m excited for her to be able to have those letters and thought it was something special for her.
Outfit: It was mine when I was her age.
Headband: Fancy Free Finery
Shoes: Mini Melissa – I bought them off the Buy, Sell, Trade page on FB but here is a link to a pink pair on Amazon. Seriously, cutest shoes ever!! I was so excited to find bunny ones for her party!
Cookies: Kathy’s Cookies in Mattoon, IL (I had my sister pick them up before she came to Virginia.)
Monthly Frame: DIY Project! I think its 2×1 pieces of wood – stained them and had Ethan put the frame together for me. I bought the flowers and greenery from Michaels.
Year Facts: Made myself in Photoshop.
Bunny Decor: Thrift Store finds.
Favors: Succulents are from Walmart, the clay pots and tags are from Michaels. I made the woods with my vinyl cutting machine.
Now here are some photos of her throughout the party. She was gifted a few pairs of sunglasses and she had to show them off every time her Daddy put them on her. LOL. Miss Diva.
